If anyone is interested in exploring other cities in Spain before the wedding, you could also fly into another Spanish city and then take a train or bus to Málaga. For example, you could fly into Madrid Barajas Airport and then take a high speed train to Málaga, which only takes 2.5 or 3 hours and costs between 30 and 80 euros.
If you need accomodation the day of the wedding, Málaga has countless hotel options. You can book your favorite one here on Booking.com or book an apartment on Airbnb.
Our wedding is a daytime wedding, which means cocktail attire. Most women in Spain wear cocktail length dresses, and it is common to wear a fascinator (tocado in Spanish) or wide-brimmed hat (pamela in Spanish). Men normally wear a suit and tie with dress shoes. If you would like to get your hair and makeup done for the wedding, you can check out these salons to help you get you ready for our big day! We recommend booking in advance.
There is no shortage of things to do in sunny Málaga! This city on the Mediterranean Sea was founded in 770 BC, making it one of the oldest cities in Spain. It is also the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, and today it is a famous “Sun Coast” destination, with something for everyone!
